with character. Food that is never boring and never bland. Food that we love
and are proud to share with all of you.
Our breads are delicious well-made breads, an expression, we hope of the 6,000 year old tradition of bread. We bake baguettes throughout the day so that they are always impeccably fresh and we are especially proud of offering a line of whole grain and ancient grain breads that are not merely healthful but really, really good.
Our pastry kitchen creates American desserts made with a mix of tradition and creativity. We try to make the desserts you love, ranging from scones, croissants, and donuts in the morning, to cookies and caramels in the afternoon, and cakes, pies, and other whole pastries for the evening.
Our savory kitchen makes a seasonally driven menu made with local ingredients as we are able to find them. Our soups, salads, sandwiches and prepared dishes focus on bold flavors; influenced by the flavors generally of the Mediterranean with Asia and the new world occasionally creeping in. We also carry a small, but carefully chosen selection of cheese from some favorite American and European producers.
We serve fresh coffee and espresso from La Colombe as well as some sodas, our own drinks, and the inevitable bottled waters.
